A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Heather — a UX/UI Designer, Researcher, and Strategist with over six years of experience designing for complex platforms in AI, SaaS, and eCommerce. I specialize in making the complicated feel intuitive and meaningful. From mobile apps built for field technicians to dashboards powered by AI, I design systems that scale and support the real people using them.

Two years ago, I moved from the U.S. to Amsterdam to lead product design at a tech startup and expand my global perspective. Now back in the States, I’m building a life rooted in creativity, challenge, and clarity—both professionally and personally.

But let's step away from work for a second.
Outside of UX...
I'm someone who thrives on motion and stillness. I climb cliffs and nap in hammocks. I love biking through forests, dancing in a living room, getting my hands messy with paint, or zoning out to a beautiful UI in a video game.

I’m deeply drawn to nature—trees especially. My dream is to live in a house tucked in the woods, with my partner and future kids, a short bike ride from a town filled with good people and better coffee. Until then, you’ll find me rock climbing, camping, or pedaling toward peace (and snacks).

I value honesty, emotional intelligence, and people who say what they mean. I don’t do small talk unless it’s laced with wit. I like things that are real—conversations, relationships, and design choices alike.

I’m a former professional dancer (yes, since I was three), a product researcher by instinct, and someone who will absolutely spend 45 minutes reading reviews before buying a cooler. I’m energized by challenges that make me think deeply, laugh loudly, and grow constantly.

And then there's Myra—my Ragdoll cat, companion, and occasional co-pilot on hikes. She joined me in Amsterdam and hasn't stopped adventuring since.
How I Move Through the World
I’m not interested in perfection. I’m interested in alignment. Does it work? Does it feel right? Does it do good?
Whether I’m refining a UX flow, untangling a climbing problem, or rebalancing a board game strategy—my instinct is always to ask: What’s really going on here? What’s the root cause? What makes this better—not just prettier?
If you’re someone who also values intention, clarity, and a little chaos with your creativity—we’ll get along great.
Let’s build something real.
